This section includes some examples of bespoke products manufactured to meet clients’ specific requirements.

Target recognise that the needs of the customer may not always be met from products within our standard range. For this reason, we place a heavy emphasis on our manufacturing flexibility, where our expertise and experience are second to none.

Our skilled team will be pleased to assist with advice on design, construction and materials. If necessary, with the use of CAD systems and a 3D modelling facility, you can see exactly what you'll be receiving before the first piece of timber is cut.

We can modify existing designs and create entirely new pieces of furniture, from individual cabinets or sofas, to special table or chair designs. We will always endeavour to meet your expectation.

Description: This striking feature table was designed specially for the foyer in the Royal Horseguards Hotel. With an immensley detailed base, which included etched glass panels.

Description: This contemporary design sofa with fluted back and arms was produced by Target to meet the designer's specification. Matching armchairs were also supplied.

Description: These simple but stylish timber framed tables were fitted with chromed, decorative trims to the base of each of the four support columns.

Description: These mobile screens were manufactured for the Cotswold Water Park Hotel, to the specific design of the client.

Description: A further variation on the Brasserie Plus chair with oak arms, created by the addition of a buttoned back detail.
Sectional Circular Seating Unit

Description: Manufactured for the TK Maxx store in Brussels, this circular seating unit, built to fit around a column in store, is a derivation of the standard deep-buttoned version also supplied to this client. Upholstered in Yarwood Arizona hide, with feature stitching to the seams and fitted with chrome feet, to achieve a crisp and modern look.

Description: Another bespoke design for Putney, created with a traditional and particularly elegant turned leg detail and feature rails. These were provided in both square and rectangular versions.

Description: This bespoke table design, produced for the JDW development in Putney, with bulbous turnings shaped to a fine leg detail, produced from 8” timber sections.

Description: These two models were designed by SDS Design, and were produced for the Executive Lounge at the Royal Horseguards Hotel.
Seat Unit

Description: These 1800mm diameter deep buttoned seating units with brushed aluminium laminate plinths, are supplied to a major retail chain, and used in most stores.
Patient Chair & Footstool

Description: The Brampton style patient chair and footstool were designed and manufactured in-house, for a major private hospital operator in London. These proved successful, and are now being used regularly by this client.

Description: A further example of the Brasserie Plus chair with the applied oak arms. A plain back detail was selected on this occasion.
Tub Chair

Description: This special tub chair with castor fittings, was designed and manufactured for a chain of Gentleman’s Clubs. Three hundred were produced for four different sites.
Windsor

Description: This external stacking armchair was manufactured using an Iroko hardwood, and finished in our VR4 external wood preservative. Several hundred of these chairs were produced in-house for a major client.
Low Stool

Description: Based on our standard Peter Low Stool, but produced with a brushed stainless steel plinth and cleverly incorporating hidden floor-fixings, for an elegant solution to this client's restaurant's requirements.

Description: Specially designed coffee tables, with a glass insert top, manufactured for the Four Pillars Hotel group.

Description: We refined our standard Dandy Armchair model to create this chair to meet the designer’s specific requirements, which was supplied to the South Spa Hospital in Southampton.

Description: These special design table bases were produced in solid cherry timber, with tops in Woodlam Cherry Silk, with a solid timber edge finished to match the laminate, for continuity.

Description: The Vanessa table base design was created by PNW Design, for their client, Brasserie Blanc. The bespoke table tops incorporated the logo for this famous French restaurant chain.
Reception Table

Description: A somewhat unusual piece for Target to produce, but with our design and out sourcing facilities, we provided this unique table for use in the reception of a major local company. With a high gloss lacquered base with vinyl lettering, stainless steel supports and a glass top with etched lettering, this feature item met with the client's complete approval.
Coffee Table

Description: This table base was manufactured at the designer's request and finished in solid gold with a gloss lacquer. A stained, solid oak top was fitted and a glass overlay supplied to provide this distinctive piece.
Dresser Unit

Description: This unique feature dresser was designed and manufactured for a local client, and finished in a combination of scrubbed pine and solid cream. We are happy to assist our clients with the design of these individual products and, naturally, to advise on construction and materials.
Console Unit

Description: This feature console unit was produced for the Thistle Hotel Group for use in their Marble Arch location. This piece was an in-house design in conjunction with the client.
Reception Desk

Description: This stunning Reception Desk was simply created by taking our Superior Table design and adding the side cupboards. Designed by Trevillion Interiors for use in The Menzies Irvine hotel, this piece features a combination of solid timber in oak and stainless steel elements.
Dumb waiter

Description: This unit was specified by Wall St Interiors for their client, McMullens Brewery. It was based on our standard Conway Dresser, but manufactured in Ash with a limed finish. Another example of the flexibility that we can provide in situations where the functions of a cabinet item are essential in an individual situation.
Armchair

Description: This model was created by Design Coalition for the Monkey Tree, in Cardiff. The standard Hatfield Armchair was modified to achieve the shaping detail to the arm, and a roll-over front to the seat completed the transformation.
Bench Unit

Description: This seating unit was designed for use in the waiting area of a hair salon. The base was constructed in solid beech, and fitted with steel back rest supports which were then concealed within the leather upholstered back pads.
Booth Seat Units

Description: These seating units were designed by Design Coalition, for the Deep Blue restaurant chain. These featured an American oak slotted timber back section, with end panels and kick boards in a matching polyrey placage laminate. The seats and backs were upholstered in Nova Cobalt faux leather.
Special Sofa

Description: This special sofa was manufactured to meet the designer’s specification, with a requirement that the overall length needed to be 2.6 metres. This design and production flexibility can usually be offered, to ensure the scale of the product is appropriate for the individual scheme.
Circular Seating Unit

Description: This unit comprises of four segmented sections, each with fully upholstered deep buttoned seats, and three timber back rods with a ball finial. Alternating contrasting fabrics were then selected. This feature unit was designed specifically for the Hunting Tower Hotel in Perthshire

Description: These tables were just two of several designed in conjunction with Conran Design, for the Skyway restaurant in the Royal Festival Hall.

Both the cylindrical and pillar style bases, were produced in walnut, with the tops in walnut veneer with contrasting solid walnut edges.
Illuminated Table

Description: This octagonal shaped coffee table , was designed by James Bussell Interior Design, for the Orange Rooms in Bournemouth.

Constructed in oak veneer panels, and fitted with lights and a combination of mirrors, to achieve the impression of ‘infinity’.
Semi Circular Seating Unit

Description: These units, each comprised of three individual sections, were designed in conjunction with the client, and upholstered in an exquisite alcantara fabric. They were then sent on to Cologne, where they featured on an exhibition stand. Site shots of the stand can be found under Fitted Seating in the projects section of this site.
Bar Chair

Description: When JD Wetherspoon acquired a former Wesleyan Methodist Church, it was natural that they would maintain elements of it's former life. This standard bar chair was modified for the designer, Tuffin Ferraby & Taylor, to incorporate the cross and bible shelf.
Coffee Table

Description: Designed in conjunction with The John Lewis Partnership for the Odney Club at Cookham, which is one of several JLP internal staff training centres. A complex base construction, was then fitted with a solid 50 mm oak top and finished in medium oak stain.
Console Table

Description: These console tables were supplied to MacDonald Hotels, for the Crutherland in East Kilbride. These were manufactured in an oak veneer and stained to match the existing furniture on site.
Cube Table

Description: This table was produced for the relaxation room at The Macdonald Golf and Country Club Hotel in Whitchurch. Designed by Thompson Macleod Associates, it was constructed from Oberflex Walnut laminate, with brushed stainless steel plinths.

Description: This table was one of several designed by Conran & Partners for the restaurant in The Royal Festival Hall. The table was constructed from walnut timber, and the table top in clear lacquered walnut veneer, with contrast stained solid walnut edges.
Maitre D'

Description: Designed by Thistle Design, for the Thistle Hotel in Newcastle. This shaped unit was produced in beech, and fitted with stainless steel plinths. A combination of open shelves, door and lockable drawer and castor fittings, were provided to meet the specification.

Description: This unit was designed by Trevillion Interiors specifically for the Walton Hall project. Produced in a Walnut veneer with Zimbabwe black marble top surfaces with a contrast chrome decor edge. The unit was fitted with castors to allow it's re-positioning when necessary.
It was designed as a business unit, and accommodated a computer and pull out keyboard shelf, and was fully prepared for all necessary cabling.
Maitre d' Unit

Description: This unit was detailed by Thistle Design specifically for the Thistle Hotel in Westminster. With open shelves and a lockable drawer, the unit was produced in Ash veneer with a solid ash top, and finished in a natural mahogany stain.
Stacking Chair

Description: This chair was designed in conjunction with Trevillion Interiors for the Fine Dining area in the Suffolk New College. Following the preparation of working drawings and the approval of the initial sample, Target manufactured 100 pieces in oak for this high profile project. The seat and back were upholstered in a Vadal fabric and the oak frames were clear lacquered.

Description: This feature table was produced to a specification from Thompson Macleod Associates for the Glasgow Marriott Hotel. The base unit was produced in beech, and the top in a beech veneer with a 32mm solid edge. The finish is W25 Natural Mahogany.
Waiter Station
Product: Waiter Station
Description: This unit was manufactured for Loch Fyne Restaurants, as a specific requirement for their restaurant in Bristol. The base of the unit was finished with a solid cream powder coat, and the top constructed to provide a brushed stainless steel surface.
