What's New From Target

This section provides us with the opportunity to showcase a combination of new in-house designed items, together with some interesting variations to a number of standard products.

We’re able to actively encourage our clients to be creative in their design and finishing specifications, due to the unique flexibility of our in-house manufacturing, finishing and upholstery skills. It is here that we can provide a service; and these examples will give you some idea of just what can be achieved.

Whether it is with new products, imaginative use of fabrics and upholstery detailing, or simply variations on a theme, we hope that you will find this section to be of particular interest. It is our intention that the message ‘there's so much more to Target’ will be further enhanced...........

Description: This model was created by the designer PNW for the Brasserie Blanc restaurant chain. This version of the popular Blenheim tub chair will almost certainly become a standard model.

Description: This model was modified with the addition of oak arms that were manufactured and applied in-house. The piped fluted back was a further modification, and the timber frames received a black patina prior to lacquering.

Description: This special lounge chair is a further example of the client’s pursuit of constant variety in the traditional product area. This was supplied to a site in Terminal 4, at Heathrow airport.

Description: This chair was produced for HCA International for use in London Bridge Hospital. The Brampton Carver was fitted with castors to the front feet, to allow for easy and silent movement of visitor chairs.

Description: This non-standard model was sourced at the designer’s request. The feature outside back detail was considered essential to the scheme. This model was also supplied in a Two seater couch version.

Description: The Conway tub chair is a popular standard model, which provides a compact yet comfortable solution, in circumstances where space is at a premium. On this occasion, this model was modified to provide a fully upholstered version.

Description: Here, the designer needed an upright chair, with the added feel of luxury brought about by deep buttoning, and a Queen Anne leg to fit in with the scheme. All this, with a challengingly tight time-scale, meant the flexibility of our in-house production was ideal for meeting this specific requirement. Our Audley Dining Chair was the right proportions, while the Queen Anne leg and deep-buttoning were well within the scope of our manufacturing skills. The result, as you can see, was a successful interpretation and realisation of the brief.

Description: Another simple but effective variation on the standard Dandy Armchair. By fitting Queen Anne legs, shaped, rolled arms and the addition of wings, this modified chair successfully met the requirements of designers KD Paine for a JD Wetherspoon site in High Wycombe.
Marvel Armchair

Description: This chair evolved from our standard contemporary Dandy Armchair model, when the designer KD Paine were creating the interior for a new JD Wetherspoon site in Dartford. With considerable imagination, an increase in the height, the Queen Anne leg, deep buttoned back and rolled upholstered arm detail, transformed this model.
Tub Chair

Description: This tub chair was designed by PNW Associates specifically for use in the Loch Fyne restaurants. The client required a compact, comfortable, high back seating solution for this location, and this product met the demand. The chair was upholstered in Yarwood Arizona and finished with a dark oak stain. Please visit our Projects section, where images of the Loch Fyne interiors can be seen.
Antoinette Armchair

Description: The designer KD Paine created this fully upholstered armchair for a new JD Wetherspoon location. The standard Versailles armchair frame was used, and this was fully upholstered with a low buttoned back. The fabric shown here is Skopos Zodiac, and the frame is stained in W60 Chestnut.
