Target can offer to provide the Hygienilac finish to any timber products supplied to hospital or care home environments.
Hygienilac lacquer has been developed to provide long term protection against antibiotic resistant bacteria. This protection should endure throughout the lifetime of the product, which might reasonably be expected to be ten years. Until now, there has been nothing available on the market that can provide this level of long term protection to furniture and other lacquered surfaces. Hygienilac, which is a biocidal wood lacquer, has been independently certified in the UK by a respected microbiological laboratory. A copy of this certification can be made available on request.
Hygienilac finished surfaces need only to be cleaned with warm soapy water. This lacquer has also passed British Standard tests for severe horizontal usage, and will provide significant heat and stain resistant properties.
